Will crypto loans become legal in Ukraine?

I’ve been looking at how the laws are evolving, and a thought occurred to me: Could crypto loans soon become legal in Ukraine? After all, they’re offering loans there at very high interest rates, and people are taking them out more and more... The laws in Ukraine are changing almost every day, and there’s constant talk about the need to legalize cryptocurrency. And if it’s legalized, then crypto loans will also become “legal.” I think that in that case, the companies providing them will end up in court.

And it’s a real rip-off: you borrow 500 USDT, and a month later you already have to pay back 2,500 USDT.
I don’t know who stands to gain from taking them… Even on an exchange, starting with 500 bucks, it’s far from certain you’ll be able to make at least 2,500 in a month to pay it back.
But anyway, these are just some thoughts on the topic. I invite you to join the discussion.

I never thought anyone would take out loans like that, especially under those terms. It’s just a rip-off. And I don’t think it’s realistic to turn a $500 deposit into $2,500 on the stock market. You’d probably have to sit on short positions for days on end, picking up a buck here and there. Then maybe it’ll work out—if it doesn’t suddenly plunge into the red. As for legality, I think that sooner or later crypto will be legalized on the European continent. For example, they’re already working on digital currencies like the digital ruble, the digital hryvnia, and so on. In small steps, quietly, but they’ll eventually bring the entire crypto industry under control one way or another.

@semen_90, and they’re really making the most of it!! I don’t even understand why🤷‍♂️.

Most likely, that’s exactly what will happen. Slowly but surely, it will shift from decentralization to centralized management. Actually, let’s see—it’s too early to say anything about this right now...
I’m just curious what will happen next with crypto loans—will they really be legalized, and will all that interest and their operations in general become legal?

Most likely, yes. Otherwise, why legalize it? There’s a reason for all of this. 👌
